Referred to as being ‘tank-like’ by car collectors, the Mercedes-Benz 280C is known for its construction and reliability. Your classic luxury car collection will be elevated by having a bold 1973 Mercedes-Benz 280C added to it. Now on Bring A Trailer and offered by v, this 280C is ready for a new owner.

Powering this Astral Silver 1973 Mercedes-Benz 280C is a carbureted 2.8-liter M110 inline six-cylinder engine, backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The current owner bought it six years ago, and it was restored by Mercedes Motoring of Glendale, California. It was reupholstered in black MB-Tex, the brakes were overhauled, and air conditioning covered to run R134a refrigerant. It rolls on refinished 14-inch wheels and has a Becker stereo. Finishing it off is new exterior moldings.

Some refreshed mechanical work includes adjusting valves, power coating the air filter houses, and replacing alternator, hoses, belts, and hood insulation. It has stock Solex carburetors, the factory manuals, five keys, refurbishment receipts, and a clean Texas title.

The VOD instrumentation includes a quartz clock, speedometer that reads up to 145-mph, and combo gauges. Only 21k miles are shown on the five digit odometer, while the true mileage is unknown.
