4-year-old brings holiday cheer in the form of a snack to stuck snowplow operator

A friendly four-year-old helped a Winnipeg snowplow driver make the best of a sticky situation on Wednesday when he got stuck in the snow for hours outside her house.

Moshiur Rahman said it was his daughter Adiba's idea to bring a snack to the driver after she started feeling sad that his snowplow had been stuck for so long.

"We were just watching through our window, the whole thing, and we were feeling bad and so did my daughter," he said.

"She just told me she was feeling sad and she [asked] me … if we could take some food for this person, the snowplowing operator.

"We made some food and we took the food for him, and he really appreciated it, and he liked it," Rahman said.

The family filmed the food delivery and Rahman posted the video on social media, tagging CBC meteorologist John Sauder.

Rahman said he's very proud of his daughter for being so caring.

"She has developed some sort of sense of helping other people," he said.

"Basically that's the beauty of being Canadian, right?"
