Blake Lively takes Ryan Reynolds to the place they 'fell in love' for surprise birthday party
Blake Lively has given husband Ryan Reynolds a 40th birthday celebration he'll never forget. The actress, who just welcomed her second baby with the Canadian star, made the sweetest gesture by convening friends and family for a surprise dinner at the pair's favourite New York restaurant, O Ya.
Blake explained that she and Ryan first fell in love in the Boston branch of the restaurant.

Sharing a photo of the lovebirds cuddling up to each other on Instagram, she wrote: "We fell in love at your restaurant in Boston. We stay in love at your restaurant in NY. Thank you for the BEST food and memories! You are our FAVOURITE!! Another happy birthday with @vancityreynolds. Hey, Reynolds, I like you a whole lot. Just sayin'..."

Ryan, likewise, posted a photo of the colourful celebrations that was filled with balloons, party hats and streamers. He gave a sweet shout out to the couple's two children.
"Best. Birthday. Everrrrr. Courtesy of my wife, buddy, and international spy, @blakelively," he wrote. "With huge thanks to my favourite restaurant in NYC,@_o_ya_ -- and a special shout out to our children for not ruining everything like they planned."

Blake and Ryan's night out comes just a couple of weeks after 29-year-old Blake gave birth to the couple's second baby at the end of September.
