Crave Canada removing Showtime shows 'Dexter,' 'Californication,' 'Ray Donovan' and more in December
Canada's Crave streaming site will see some significant changes in December when shows like Dexter, Californiacation, House Of Lies, United States Of Tara, Felicity and Ray Donovan are removed from the platform, along with movies like Grease, the Kill Bill movies, (500) Days Of Summer, Elf and Top Gun.
While Crave is known as the home of Showtime content in Canada, you may want to power through a rerun of some of your favourite shows from the network before they're gone.
Some of the shows being removed in December include Matt LeBlanc's Episodes (Dec. 10), the Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz and Josh Lawson series House of Lies (Dec. 10). In addition to Diablo Cody's United States of Tara (Dec. 10) starring Toni Collette.
The Affair (Dec. 17) starring Dominic West and Ruth Wilson is also leaving Crave in December. Along with David Lynch's Twin Peaks (Dec. 17), Califoriniacation (Dec. 24) starring David Duchovny, The Big C (Dec. 31) with Laura Linney, Dexter (Dec. 31) starring Michael C. Hall, and Ray Donovan (Dec. 31).
Non-Showtime TV shows being removed from Crave in December include the 1998 drama Felicity, starring Keri Russell, Scott Foley, Scott Speedman and Amy Jo Johnson (Dec. 14).
On the movie front, The Queen will be removed from Crave on Dec. 5, the film that resulted in Helen Mirren winning an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II. Additionally, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2 will be removed from Crave on Dec. 25.
On the last day of the month (500) Days of Summer with Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Top Gun with Tom Cruise and Grease, starring John Travolta and the late Olivia Newton-John will be leaving Crave.
With the holidays coming, this is your last chance to watch a few Christmas movies on Crave, most notably Elf will be removed on Dec. 31.
If you're a Crave subscriber looking for a movie recommendation just before December starts, Canadian filmmaker Emma Seligman's movie Shiva Baby is great choice, starring Rachel Sennott, Dianna Agron, Danny Deferrari and Molly Gordon. It's a must-watch before it leaves the streaming platform.
