On ‘Dance Moms,’ Abby Lee Miller Breaks Down Over Possible Jail Time

Throughout Season 6 of Dance Moms, a dark cloud has loomed over Abby Lee Miller as she’s dealt with personal legal issues — she could face jail time due to a high-profile fraud lawsuit. And while she has tried to remain calm, cool, and collected, it may now be too much for her to handle.

The moms speculate about the future of her dance studio, ALDC, when Abby’s colleague, dance legend Debbie Allen calls. “There’s so much negativity going on right now with the lawsuit,” says Nia’s mom, Holly Frazier, “We’re not quite sure what the future of the ALDC holds for anyone.” Abby is seen breaking down in tears.

Kendall’s mother, Jill Vertes, says, “She’s freaking out because maybe she’s facing jail time.” If convicted, Abby Lee Miller could face up to 10 years in prison.

At the end of the day, Abby Miller’s destructive one-woman show may be what takes the diva out of the spotlight for good.

Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. CT on Lifetime.
