Drake celebrates his 30th birthday with Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and more famous friends

Drake rang in his 30th birthday on Sunday night with a crew of his famous friends in Los Angeles. Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Jamie Foxx, John Mayer and more turned out at Delilah’s in West Hollywood to toast the Canadian rapper. Noticeably absent from the festivities was the rapper's on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna.

The rapper shared this post-party picture on Instagram.

Even though Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have a strained relationship there was no bad blood spilled during the party. It seems both stars were also happy to attend the event alongside their ex-boyfriend John Mayer. The "Daughters" singer dated both pop singers in the past.

A leather-clad Taylor was joined by Karlie Kloss, the HAIM sisters and her brother Austin.

Drake's mother Sandi flew in from Toronto for the bash, as did his father Dennis. The latter led the star-filled crowd in a touching rendition of "Happy Birthday." The rapper told his friends that he "feels great" about entering another decade of life.

In honour of his special day, the "Hotline Bling" singer released four new songs and announced the December release of a new album entitled More Life. The new LP comes on the heels of his massively successful fourth studio album Views, which was released in April.
