Father Says Store Santa Prayed With Girl Who Asked Him to Cure Her Cousin's Leukemia
A man posted footage on December 21 described as showing a store Santa Claus in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, praying with a little girl who had asked him for Christmas that her cousin be cured of leukemia.
Steve Dane, who posted the video along with an image of Santa and two children, said the girl, his daughter, Taylor, told “Santa that all she wanted for Christmas was for Ashley Freihoff (her cousin) to be healed of leukemia.”
In response, Dane said, the store Santa Claus prayed to what he called “the great physician” that Freihoff to be cured.
Dane tagged another user, Ashley Freihoff, who said on her own Facebook profile that she was undergoing treatment. A crowdfunding page exists for Freihoff on which it is stated that she is suffering from leukemia; a Facebook fundraising event also exists with similar details.
