Man divorces new bride after he discovered how much make-up she wore
A man has divorced his wife after he accused her of “deceiving him” by wearing too much make-up.
The unidentified couple were on their honeymoon in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, when they began swimming at Al Mamzar Beach.
The Arab man, 30, was apparently shocked when he saw his 24-year-old bride emerge from the sea without her make-up after it washed off in the water.
According to Arabic newspaper Aletihad, the husband went on to discover that his bride had undergone cosmetic surgery and wore false eyelashes and coloured contact lenses.

As a result, the man felt deceived and filed for divorce.
The woman was said to have been planning to tell her husband about her make-up and surgery and had undergone psychological counselling.
Despite her pleas to not end the short marriage, her husband refused to back down and went ahead with the divorce.
