Miley Cyrus Steals ‘Voice’ Contestant in Record Time

The knockout round continued Tuesday night on The Voice. The final battle of the show was between Team Alicia contestants Belle Jewel and Christian Cuevas, and it turned out that they saved the best for last.

Belle tried keeping her dreams alive with a performance of “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House. Christian hit the stage with a performance of the Carpenters’ classic hit “Superstar.” Both artists sang their hearts out and made the decision difficult for their coach.

Alicia selected Christian as the winner, but that didn’t mean that Belle’s dream came to an end. Before Carson could even finish saying, “Coaches, let me remind you that Belle is available to steal,” Miley slammed her steal button. Carson said it was possibly the quickest steal in Voice history, and Miley had a good reason for her speedy steal. Miley told Belle, “I loved you since I saw them bangs … I was inspired by you, so I’m happy to work with you.”

The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
