'I will not lie to you': Fox News host Laura Ingraham says Trump reelection 'unlikely'

President Donald Trump may not be ready to concede the election to President-elect Joe Biden, but one of his staunch supporters is preparing viewers for "reality."

On Monday, Fox News host Laura Ingraham told her viewers that a second Trump term is "unlikely."

“Unless the legal situation changes in a dramatic and frankly an unlikely manner, Joe Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th," she said on "The Ingraham Angle."

Despite what she called "unpleasant" and "disappointing" election results, Ingraham told her viewers that "as much as we wish things were different, this is where things stand tonight."

"To say this constitutes living in reality," Ingraham said. "If I offered you a false reality – if I told you there was an excellent, phenomenal chance that the Supreme Court was going to step in and deliver a victory to President Trump – I'd be lying to you. You've known me for a long time now. You've known me long enough to know that I will not lie to you or simply tell you what you want to hear."

Ingraham's change of stance differs dramatically from her Fox News colleague Tucker Carlson, who continued to perpetuate unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud on air Monday.

"We need to find out exactly what happened in this month's presidential election," Carlson said while questioning electronic voting machines. "The 2020 presidential election was not fair. No honest person would claim that it was fair. On many levels, the system was rigged against one candidate and in favor of another. And it was rigged in ways that were not hidden from view. We all saw it happen."
