‘Red Notice’ Trailer: Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds Are Partners in Crime in Netflix Film (Video)

“Red Notice,” the all-star international caper starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, is almost upon us and Netflix has just unleashed a new, action-packed trailer for their upcoming blockbuster. Buckle up.

This new trailer gives us the best look yet at the actual plot of “Red Notice,” which sees Johnson’s grizzled FBI agent John Hartley track down Reynolds’ international art thief Nolan Booth, only to be constantly thwarted by Gadot’s rival thief Sarah Black.

After Black puts them both on Interpol’s most wanted list, Hartley and Booth team up to steal some priceless artifacts and take down Black, once and for all. Ah, a chocolatey mismatched buddy comedy exterior with the gooey heist movie center – is there anything better?

This new trailer promises elaborately staged action set pieces and, of course, wise acre banter between Reynolds and Johnson, re-teaming for the first time since 2019’s “Fast and the Furious” spinoff “Hobbs and Shaw.” (Gadot, of course, starred with Johnson in “Fast Five” and “Fast & Furious 6.” Feels like a lifetime ago!)

“Red Notice” was written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who directed Johnson in “Central Intelligence” and “Skyscraper.”

“Red Notice” looks to be Netflix’s big crossover event film for Thanksgiving 2021, debuting on Netflix on Nov. 12.
