Edwin Encarnacion posts thank-you note to Blue Jays fans
Edwin Encarnacion may well have played his last game in a Blue Jays uniform in Wednesday's series-ending ALCS loss. Out of contract and due to hit the free agent market in the coming offseason, he posted on Instagram a thank-you note to fans that does have a certain ring of farewell:
"I have no words to explain my appreciation to all my fans for the support and affection throught this long season and previous years. I don't think I will ever have better fans than you guys, for motivating us to give our hearts in every pitch and doing it with all our passion to transfer that emotion for each one of you. To all my Teamates we did a great job!!!"
