Over/Under Week 14 - Josh Allen

Will the Bills QB earn an end zone hat trick on SNF vs. the Steelers?

Video Transcript

- And it's Josh Allen. We're going to set the line here at 2.5 touchdowns. That's that is the combined touchdowns, OK? So rushing, passing. It's all part of the equation here. You know that with Josh Allen.

And I don't care about the Steelers defense. I'm going over on this one. And the biggest reason is that we're starting to see some cracks in this Steelers defense. Number one, we know Bud Dupree, their star pass rusher across from TJ Watt, he's out of the mix.

Robert Spillane, the guy who is replacing Devin Bush as the coverage linebacker, he's gone. Vince Williams on the COVID list. And that's why Logan Thomas, JD McKissic, those guys were running free over the middle of the field last time we saw the Steelers.

I think that's going to be the case with Josh Allen. The Cole Beasley connection is alive and well. And really, all year you've been able to pick on the Steelers over the middle. Sixth-most yards allowed to slot receivers on the season.

So I am clearly going over. And I know Tank is a handsome and smart man, you obviously agree with me. Please, tell me why.

- Absolutely not. You know I'm going under. That's why you try to set me up with a banana in the tailpipe. And you have to also look what you're doing to, Harmon. You are like emotionally invested into Josh Allen. So you're trying to see things that really aren't happening.

Like, the Steeler defense is tough against quarterbacks, and really tough against fancy quarterbacks. Josh Allen has only gone over this number in two of the last eight games. And look at it, Pittsburgh's defense held Tannehill, shoot, Deshaun Watson, Lamar Jackson under this number.

I don't think they'll have any problem holding Josh Allen under this number, especially coming off with tough loss upset against Washington. I'm definitely going under on this one.

- OK, number one how dare you try to say this is an emotional argument. It's clearly a very logical argument. Liz, save me here. Please, tell me-- tell me we're going over on this one.

- You know, I'm just going to set it up this way. So on Friday, I opened a gorgeous bottle of GSM. I let that baby aerate. It was gorgeous. I drank a little bit too quickly.

And I fired off a hot "Star Wars" take. It was well conceived, but my mentions cannot take any more. So I'm not going to mess with an anti-Josh Allen take. Thank you, Andy Behrens, for teaching me that lesson.

I will take the over on this one. Matt Harmon mentioned all of the injuries to the Steelers. He missed one, Joe Haden. Here's how it's going to go. Stefon Diggs is finding the end zone. You got Dawson Knox.

There's a sleeper take for you finding the end zone, because of the tight end deficiencies and the linebacking issues that the Steelers are dealing with. And then you're also going to see Josh Allen run one in.

No, I didn't stutter. Lamar Jackson ran for over 65 yards against the Steelers, so did RG3. RG3 manage 68 rushing yards against this defense. I'll take the over and a very wonderful Twitter feed. Thank you.
