Prince William and Kate Middleton have arrived at U.K. red carpet premiere of Top Gun: Maverick.

Held at Leicester Square in London, the Duchess of Cambridge looked elegant in a sleek dress from designer Roland Mouret. The timeless gown featured white off-the-shoulder straps over a black column silhouette. She accessorized with drop earrings with a star detail, a black clutch, and black pumps.

William looked suave for his royal movie date, as well. The duke wore a blue velvet blazer over a white dress shirt and black bowtie, black trousers, and black shoes.

The couple met with the cast of Top Gun, including Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Lewis Pullman, Jay Ellis, and more.

The premiere, hosted by Paramount Pictures and the Film and TV Charity, marks the 72nd Royal Film Performance delivered by the charity in its 100-year history. The charity works to support the hundreds of thousands that work behind-the-scenes in the U.K.'s film and television industry.

The Cambridges's rare red-carpet date comes nearly a year after the two attended the premiere of the James Bond movie No Time To Die at Royal Albert Hall. At the time, the duchess made a statement in a gold-sequined Jenny Packham cape gown, which included a sheer, embellished overlay. She styled the bold look with nude pumps by Aquazzura and matching gold statement earrings. Meanwhile, William channeled James Bond in a classic black tuxedo. The couple was joined by Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla.
