Will Kate Middleton Attend Princess Diana’s Statue Unveiling Alongside Prince William & Prince Harry?

We’d do anything to be a fly on the wall, so we could see what’s really happening with the royal family behind closed doors . For example, did the queen’s corgis accept her new puppy? When will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share the first photo of baby Lili? And finally, will Kate Middleton attend Princess Diana’s statue unveiling?

As for the latter, there’s a good chance the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, will make an appearance at the upcoming event, which will take place on July 1 (what would have been Princess Diana’s 60th birthday).

Although Kensington Palace declined to comment, The Daily Mirror reported that Middleton has agreed to attend to “help her husband Prince William and his brother Harry put on a united front.”

If true, Middleton will likely stand side-by-side with her husband and Prince Harry, who is traveling all the way from Montecito, California. Many believe that his wife, Meghan Markle, won’t be in attendance mainly because their new daughter, Lilibet, is still too young to travel.

Princess Diana’s statue unveiling will mark the first time that Prince William and Prince Harry have seen each other in person since Prince Philip’s funeral. That event took place just a few weeks after the Duke of Sussex spilled the royal family’s secrets during a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, so another reunion is far overdue.

Shout-out to Middleton for serving as the brothers’ unofficial buffer.
