Kate Middleton looked lovely in head-to-toe mint green as she, Prince William, and other members of the royal family hosted a royal garden party at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday ahead of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

For the event, the Duchess of Cambridge opted for a custom-made, long-sleeve midi dress in a soft hue. She previously wore the pastel frock for the 50th anniversary of Prince Charles's investiture as the Prince of Wales back in March 2019. The royal style icon, who shielded herself from the rain with an umbrella while meeting with guests, paired the frock with a matching fascinator, suede pumps, and a clutch, as well as elegant drop earrings. The Duke of Cambridge, for his part, looked dapper in a three-piece suit teamed with a black top hat.

Also taking part in the happy occasion were Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex—who hosted a separate garden party with Kate last week—as well as the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Princess Beatrice. Sophie opted for a vibrant blue dress and matching fascinator, while the Duchess of Gloucester wore a sophisticated dark dress with a white shawl and Beatrice stunned in a cap-sleeved mid-length dress in a neutral hue.

Kate, William, and the rest of the crew were there to represent The Queen, who bowed out of the annual garden parties due to ongoing mobility issues. Traditionally, the monarch hosts three garden parties leading up to summer at Buckingham Palace to celebrate those who have distinguished themselves in public service. Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, and Princess Anne hosted the first garden party earlier this month.
