After two years of very low-key dating, Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker have broken up. They clearly still have a lot in common though, because Kendall and Devin are both reportedly handling the breakup exactly the same way.

According to Page Six, the exes are both focusing on their respective time-consuming and impressive careers, post-split.

"While they care for each other, Devin was not going to propose marriage and his priority is his career," the Kendall/Devin romance source told the outlet. "Kendall’s career also dominates her life."

Obviously, Kendall and Devin have both had life-dominating careers (as a literal supermodel and NBA player, respectively) the entire time they've been dating, but attending Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's recent wedding in Italy prompted some big relationship conversations for the pair.

"After two years they had the 'where is this going' talk," the source added. "And since they were not moving forward, it was time to take a break, probably permanently."

This tracks with earlier reports about the couple's split. Earlier this week, sources explained that those "where is this going" talks basically made them realize they just weren't on the same page about the future (specifically, "Kendall feels like they’re on different paths," according to an Entertainment Tonight source).

If it helps ease the vicarious pain, a source who spoke to Us Weekly about the split offered a slightly more optimistic take, saying they need to "figure out if a future together is what’s meant to be" and implying they they *could* eventually rekindle things after they "take this time to focus on themselves" because they are "still super amicable and supportive of each other."

FWIW, it sounds like Kendall, at least, is already in a good place about the decision.

"Kendall is surrounded by her closest friends at the moment," the Page Six source explained."She is not heartbroken, but she is sad."
