After Machine Gun Kelly referred to his and Megan Fox's 'unborn child' amid performing at the Billboard Music Awards on Monday May 16, the latter has addressed his 'vulnerable and emotional' moment.

At the Las Vegas ceremony, Kelly highlighted who he dedicated his 2022 song 'Twin Flame' to, saying: 'I wrote this song for my wife,' before adding: 'And this is for our unborn child.'

Following the 32-year-old rapper's remark, which sparked pregnancy rumours, mum-of-three Fox has shared photos of the pair from the night, along with a touching message.

She wrote: 'Baby- so proud of you for giving such a vulnerable and emotional performance. You are magic [sic].'

The actor, who celebrated her 36th birthday with Kelly a day early, on Sunday, before the event, added: 'Also Vegas it’s been nice but you are my version of the innermost ring of hell.

'Off to the wilderness for my birthday.

'No one talk me for a week.'

During the 2022 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night, Machine Gun Kelly dedicated his song 'Twin Flame' - the closing track from his 2022 album Mainstream Sellout - to his fiancée Megan Fox and their 'unborn child'.

While stringing his guitar before performing at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the 32-year-old rapper said: 'I wrote this song for my wife.' He then began his song and added: 'And this is for our unborn child.'

As a result of his comment, speculation has risen as to whether Fox is expecting the couple's first child together.

One person tweeted: 'So did MGK just confirm that Megan Fox is pregnant with his baby?? [sic].'

Another excitedly wrote: 'Megan fox preggers???? Did mgk just say our unborn child!!!!! Wait!!!! [sic].'

One admirer showed her shock over MGK's comment when writing: 'Megan Fox is pregnant?! What an announcement that was!! [sic].'

Fox is already a mum-of-three to Noah, nine, Bodhi Ransom, eight and Journey, five, whom she shares with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

Meanwhile Kelly has a 12-year-old daughter named Cassie, whose mother is his ex Emma Cannon.

After Kelly made the comment, a source told E! News: 'People in the audience turned to each other perplexed and said, "Wife?"'

The pair haven't publicly commented on speculation regarding their parenting plans.

Prior to performing at the awards ceremony, Kelly told Entertainment Tonight about the special meaning behind his aforementioned song.

He said: 'I wrote this song two years ago exactly today, played it for her. It's just all the trip. It's all meant to be.'

Kelly added that the timing of the weekend's performance was appropriate, saying: 'It's really cool because it's a Lunar eclipse tonight. It's a full moon. It's [Fox's] birthday tomorrow.'

The actor admitted that she'd probably get emotional listening to the track because there's a 'really special secret meaning to the song.' She quipped: 'But I can't cry and f**k up this eyeliner.'

According to Life & Style 'Megan would love to have a baby with MGK' and 'they’ve already discussed it', according to a source. The insider claimed: 'They both want to wait a couple of years. They’re having way too much fun right now.'

Earlier this month, a source told Hollywood Life: 'A baby is 100% in the plan for Megan and Colson.' They added that the couple have 'been openly talking about since they first got together'.

The couple got engaged in January during a proposal which is believed to have taken place at Spa Botánico at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach during the couple's stay in Puerto Rico.

During a previous chat with Howard Stern in March, Kelly opened up about his 'first true intense relationship' and revealed that the dark lyrics in his '5150' song, which feature on his new album, were inspired by concerns that he and Fox were in a 'dark place' in the early stages of their relationship.

Some of the lyrics include: 'Leave, leave me now and 'please, please, save yourself.'

Kelly said of the words: 'At the time, yeah, I think we were in a dangerous place… what led us to search for healing in ways of, like, the plant medicine, ayahuasca.'
