Carole Middleton, the mother of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is getting into the holiday spirit and giving royal fans a glimpse into how she'll be spending the season with her royal grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

On the Instagram account of her party-decorating business, Middleton posted a photo of a light-up Christmas tree star.

"Once again this year we plan to have two Christmas trees: one for the children to decorate and one which I do myself," she wrote in the caption. "My beloved tree-top angel is looking a little worse for wear after years of service so it's time to invest in something new. This Light Up Gold Star will bring an extra twinkle to proceedings."

In a 2018 interview with The Telegraph, per Hello! magazine, the duchess's mother revealed that she likes to keep as many Christmas trees as possible in her home at Bucklebury Manor, and even sets up a tree in each of her grandchildren's rooms "so that they can decorate it themselves."

Middleton also previously shared another Christmas decoration that she intends to put up for her grandchildren. Posting to the Party Pieces Instagram account in late November, she uploaded a photo of two Nordic gnomes with long white beards dressed in red and white clothing.

"I'm going to need a few of these cheeky chaps this December, to hide around the house and make my grandchildren laugh," Middleton said in the caption. "As much as I love immaculate decorations, we can't be too serious at Christmas!"
