Vince Vaughn Explains New ’Do on ‘Ellen’

Vince Vaughn stopped by Ellen on Tuesday where he hoped to talk about his new film, Hacksaw Ridge, but host Ellen DeGeneres just couldn’t get past his new hairdo … or wig. Vaughn made his entrance on the show with what was obviously a wig, but played it as if everything was normal, in typical Vince Vaughn fashion. He deflected every question about the wig with quick-witted humor and declined DeGeneres’s attempts to run her fingers through it. Until finally, DeGeneres got ahold of the “rug” and pulled it off, exposing Vaughn’s bald head.

Vaughn explained that he had to shave his head completely for a recent movie role. He also said he’s just happy that his hair is growing back, because at his age, you never know. But if his hair was to not grow back, that wouldn’t be all that bad for everyone. Vaughn’s 5-year-old daughter is having fun with his baldness.

“I take her to kindergarten, at which point she’ll pull off my baseball hat and say, ‘Ha ha ha. Look who doesn’t have any hair,’” Vaughn said.
